I love picking out the perfect gifts for the people in my life. It truly brings me joy to see them open up their gifts. In the past I’ve spent a lot of money on wrapping paper, gift bags, bows, etc. I realized that spending so much money on the wrapping paper is unnecessary, and I can make my gift wrapping stand out without breaking the bank. What I learned? Keep it simple.
Who thought that brown wrapping paper could look so cute? I love that the plain brown paper can be dressed up any way you like. You can really personalize your gift wrapping by using brown paper.
what you’ll need:
I started out with this Kraft brown paper from Amazon. It comes in a huge roll that will last me into next year. I also got the white ribbon and gold twine from Amazon.
The pieces of pine came in a pack of twenty from Target. They are artificial. Real pine would be great, but I didn’t want mine to turn brown before Christmas.
The Merry & Bright tags are from Etsy. They had so many cute ones to choose from.
If you love color, that’s the awesome part about wrapping gifts like this, you can pick any color you want in terms of ribbon and/or twine. Even the gift tags can be colorful. I love more neutral tones and colors, so that’s why I chose the white and gold.
I’d love to see what you all come up with! Share your gift wrapping pictures with me below!
