Happy first day of Spring, everyone! I love the transition from Winter to Spring. Seeing the flowers start to bloom, watching everything come back to life, and starting to feel the warmth of the sun on my skin are some of my favorite parts about Spring arriving. Putting transitional outfits together are pretty fun for me as well. I love when it’s still chilly outside, but still warm enough to wear sweaters without a jacket.
With that being said, don’t rush to put your over-sized sweaters away just yet! They are the perfect transitional piece going into Spring when the weather still has it’s chilly days.
This navy blue over-sized sweater is from NUTThouse Boutique. I love mixing local boutique finds with name brand items. I do try to shop locally as much as I can, so supporting a local boutique is always a plus for me! The sweater is more light weight, but still very comfortable and cozy. It’s perfect for Spring!
I definitely do not wait until Memorial Day to break out my white denim. Once the Spring rain has washed away all of the dirty snow and salt, I think it’s the perfect time to wear white denim. It’s one of my favorite pieces to wear in the Spring since it’s light and you can style it so many different ways. I love the contrast of the white denim with the navy sweater. The white denim I’m wearing below is from American Eagle.
loafers with a fun print:
I practically live in these cheetah print loafers. They are much more comfortable than a flat, and are great for the office, nights out, or weekend errands. It’s so easy to throw these on with an outfit because it really makes a statement with little effort. I’m all about the cheetah print trend, especially subtle pops of it, and I know it’ll be around all Spring.
I love crossbody purses. They make my life so much easier when I’m going to be out walking places and I don’t want to carry a bigger purse. Nude is always a great accent that goes with any outfit, and I think that’s something that’s not going anywhere, especially during Spring.
